Description

Antique Walnut Decanter box with brass edging and stringing. With sturdy brass carry handles on each side, with a vacant initial plate on the top and brass escutcheon.

The interior is lined in a blue velvet and contains four unusual tall cut glass decanters with star cut bases and faceted stoppers.

This decanter box features a Bramah lock which is sprung so it requires the key to be pressed into the lock whilst being turned clockwise to unlock. Once unlocked the escutcheon itself must be pressed downwards to allow the box to be opened.
