Magnificent and high-quality Jewellery cabinet made with the finest veneers by renowned Cabinet makers Betjemann & Sons. The Jewellery cabinet is veneered in fabulous burr Walnut with a dome-shaped top, has cabinet doors and solid brass quadrant edging. The top has a vacant initial plate on the top and a matching escutcheon. Lifting the lid of this jewellery cabinet reveals a royal blue velvet-lined interior with a removable jewellery tray. The removable tray is made of solid coromandel, has wonderful handles and fitted out with eight padded compartments perfect for storing padded watch holders and three more compartments that are fitted for storing rings, earrings or cufflinks.

With the lid of the antique jewellery cabinet lifted the doors at the front of the box can be opened revealing two luxurious solid satinwood drawers, each one constructed with fine dovetailed joints and sumptuous coromandel veneered drawers with flush fitting brass handles, typical of the Betjemann & Son Cabinet Makers workshop. The lower drawer has a five velvet lined compartment which is designed for storing watches or necklaces. The upper drawer is fitted similarly to the main jewellery tray with eleven padded compartments including one that is fitted for rings earrings or cufflinks.

The Jewellery lock is marked: “Makers Betjemann & Sons London” and is in fully working order.
