Description

This Jewellery Box is remarkable, a Coromandel & Satinwood lined Jewellery Box by Betjemann.

This dome-top Coromandel Jewellery box features ornate Nickel-plated mounts on the top and front. Featuring a Bramah lock, which, when unlocked, allows the lid to be lifted, then two doors at the front to be opened, which reveals an elegant blue velvet-lined Satinwood interior. Inside the doors are small compartments that house four wonderful cut-Glass Perfume Bottles with beautifully faceted stoppers.

Five compartments sit at the top of this elegant Jewellery Box. One of which is fitted to hold either a pocket watch or bracelet. The other is fitted for holding smaller items, such as rings, earrings, or cuff links. There are three Jewellery drawers that are protectively padded to protect and keep all items kept inside, safe and secure.

This stunning Jewellery Box comes complete with a fully working Bramah Lock and tasselled key. The Bramah lock is sprung and requires the key to be pressed into the lock whilst turning.
