Description

Burr Walnut Jewellery box brass bound with engraved carrying handle on the lid and escutcheon on the front.

Opening the box reveals further elaborate engraving on the brass around the closing edge of the box. The lid houses a removable mirror with a ruched red velvet and gold tooled back. Removing the mirror allows access to a hidden letter compartment.

The interior contains a tray with several dividers creating compartments for those precious items. there is also two padded sections for rings, earrings and cufflinks. The tray can be lifted out to reveal further storage space underneath.

The jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
