Antique Burr Ash Jewellery Boxwith ebony edging and two decorative inlaid bands running from the front to the top of the box. With vacant brass initial plate and escutcheon.

Opening the Burr Ash jewellery box lid reveals a maroon velvet and silk paper lined interior. With a removable jewellery tray comprising four padded compartments, including two for storing rings, earrings or cufflinks. This can be lifted out using the two pieces of looped ribbon either side to reveal a large compartment for storing other precious items.

This antique jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
