Antique jewellery box veneered in stunning Calamander with brass edging and beautiful floral inlay comprising engraved mother of pearl and abalone which incorporates the escutcheon on the front of the box.

Opening the lid of this exquisitely made antique jewellery box you’ll see we have refurbished with white silk paper and padded teal velvet, and kept the original leather gold tooling which elevates the whole piece. The removable jewellery tray contains seven separate compartments including two lined for rings, earrings or cufflinks. Underneath this tray is a large padded storage area, perfect for those precious items.

On the back edge of the open box is a brass button, when pressed it causes a hidden drawer to spring forward at the front of the box. This drawer has a small makers label which reads:

The lid of the jewellery box houses a removable ruched velvet backed mirror with a gold tooled leather frame.
