Description

Unusual shaped Chinese export tea caddy.Each of the eight segmented sections are decorated with scenes of architecture and people which are framed with floral borders.

Inside is decorated with a striking gold and black floral pattern. The Paktong engraved caddy with two engraved lids is removable. The first lid is engraved with a figure which, when lifted, reveals a plain secondary lid with a bone handle.

The Caddy stands on four carved dragon feet.
