The piece that you see here is an exceptionally rare Tea Chest veneered in Laburnam, with herringbone inlay and standing on ogee bracket feet.

An elegant tea chest with a brass carry handle and brass escutcheon has quartered veneered panels to the top, front, and sides, as well as blind fretwork carvings on the canted top and front. In the chest’s interior, four compartments can be found. Two removable dividers separate the three compartments on the front.

With this tea chest, you will find a key that is tasselled which works along with a fully functional lock.
