Description

Coromandel Jewellery Box with brass edging and escutcheons.

The interior features purple silk velvet and black leather paper lined tray with gold tooling. It has various compartments including two for rings, earrings and cufflinks. This can be lifted out to reveal further storage underneath.
There is drawer to the front of the box which can be opened by pressing the brass button located on the back edge of the interior.

The brass name plate is engraved with the phrase ” Spes Tutissima Coelis” which is Latin for “The safest hope is in heaven”.

This Jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
