The interior of this jewellery box has its original interior which is lined with blue velvet and black leather paper and features a removable tray with several compartments including one for rings, earrings or cufflinks. Underneath the tray is further storage space for those other precious jewellery items or love letters. The front of the original jewellery box houses a secure drawer which can only be access when the box is open, by pressing the brass button on the back edge between the two hinges.

This original jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key and contains its original interior.
