Antique Jewellery box veneered in exotic coromandel inlaid with intricate wavy brass stringing to the top & front with the rest of the box being completely bound with quadrant brass making this box very robust and pleasing to the eye.

The interior of this splendid antique jewellery box is lined with a turquoise silk velvet and black leather paper. The inside of the lid features a secret letter compartment which is hidden behind the removable mirror and inside the box it has a removable tray with several dividers giving lots of room for storing all kinds of jewellery including a section for earrings, rings & cufflinks.

There is a hidden drawer to the front of the box that is opened by pressing the brass button located between the lid hinges on the back edge of the interior, this too has many compartments for all those precious keep sakes.

This high quality antique jewellery box comes with a fully working Bramah lock and tasselled key. The lock has three crowns, patent and Bramahs stamped on it and has floral engraving as do the hinges, lock keep and secret push button.
