Antique coromandel jewellery box with exquisite ornate engraved brass gilded mounts on all sides. The top of the box features a wonderful Wedgwood plaque depicting ‘Ulysses staying the chariot of Victory”.

The interior of this magnificent antique jewellery box is lined with red velvet and water silk paper and features a removable jewellery tray with two brass loop handles to aid removal. This tray has five compartments including two fitted for rings, earrings or cufflinks. On the back edge of the open box is a small retailers plaque that reads: “Wood Manchester”.
This jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
