Coromandel Tantalus. The Tantalus has a silver plated carrying handle and decorative corners supports on all four sides.
The Tantalus contains three superb quality lead crystal diamond shaped cut glass decanters with faceted stoppers and star cut bases. Each compartment holding the decanters is lined in Satinwood.
The Decanters can be removed by pressing the the lock barrel down which will allow the carrying handle to be pivoted forwards or back. The carrying handle is stamped with the following: “Betjemanns Patent 34412 London” “The Tantalus”
This antique coromandel tantalus comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
