Description

Antique Writing Slope veneered in coromandel with beautifully intricate engraved brass and Mother of Pearl inlays on the front and top of this eye catching box.

The interior is veneered in exotic Coromandel & Satinwoodit features a black leather and gold tooled writing surface, a divided section for stationery in front of the pen tray and has two brass screw top inkwells. Lifting the front half of the writing surface reveals a storage area and on the back of the slope is cross banded ribbon for holding cards and letters. The top half opens to reveal further storage space and further cross banded ribbon.

This antique writing slope comes with a fully working lock & tasselled key.
