Dating to George III Circa 1810
From our Tea Caddy collection, we are delighted to offer this Georgian Tortoiseshell & Silver Tea Caddy. The Tea Caddy of oval shape features a Tortoiseshell exterior with rippled Silver decorative mounts. When opened the Tea Caddy reveals a faced ‘pie crust’ silver with a Tortoiseshell floating lid surmounted with a silver ball handle. The Tea Caddy of exceptional quality throughout dating to the Georgian period during the reign of George III Circa 1810.
The Tea Caddy comes complete with working lock and key.
