From our Silver collection, we are delighted to introduce to the market this Solid Silver Triple Tiered Smokers Compendium. The Silver Smokers Compendium of rectangular Box form cast in sterling silver with three tiers finished with engraved vine foliage to the lid. The smallest tier on the top is a vesta compartment which has a match strike to the front, the second tier is for storing cigarettes and is gilded and the third tier is a humidor for storing cigars which is lined. Each opens on a slam shut hinge which means it lays in the closed position under tension. The rear of the box at the base is engraved ‘Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd 112 Regent St. W”. The Silver Triple Tiered Smokers Compendium is hallmarked, Sterling Silver, London by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company and dates to the turn of the 20th century and the art nouveau period 1903.
