Description

Early Tunbridge Ware Sewing box veneered in Partridge wood with a print of Greek God Saturn in his chariot pulled by two winged serpents.

The interior is all intact and lined with pink paper and has several compartments fitted with various sewing tools. There are two small removable boxes with sliding lids and a removable pin cushion.

The underside of the lid has a floral print and the tag “Saturn” at the top.

Comes with a fully working lock and key.
