Silver plated Hukin & Heath fruit squeezer with gilt receptacle. The squeezer has a turned wooden press with a screw handle is the style of a tree branch.
The body of the fruit squeezer has a registered design number: 203233. This number can also be found on the base with the underside stamped “H&H”.
The underside of the receptacle is also stamped “H&H” “4709 3”
Attributed to designer Christopher Dresser who used silversmiths Hukin & Heath at this time for many of his pieces.
