Jaeger-LeCoultre is a Swiss luxury watch and clock manufacturer founded by Antoine Le Coultre, in 1833. They are still operating today, and are responsible for hundreds and hundreds of inventions and patents. They have over 1000 clock/watch movements to their name.

Atmos Clock are also called torsion clocks or anniversary clocks although Atmos is the given name by Jaeger-LeCoultre. They are clocks which work under the perpetual motion theory meaning they hypothetically run forever. They work from a contraction and expansion of bellows in the rear casing which automatically winds the spring in the main movement allowing it to run continuously without any winding or given power.
