This antique Chippendale Tea Caddy is exquisite; made from solid oak and features a single compartment.

This caddy has an untouched patination that makes it simply beautiful. It features a dovetailed carcass veneered in richly figured flame Mahogany. The cavetto top is separated from the rest of the caddy by ebony mouldings.

The top of the caddy has a larger-than-average brass handle and to the front an ornate pierced escutcheon; which completes the caddy with a fully working lock and tasselled key. As the lid is lifted, the interior of the chest is revealed to be vacant, and the facings are fashioned from Ebony.
