McMurdo was a former designer for Alfred Dunhill.
Featuring an interesting painted scene on the front.
It can be lit by rolling your thumb swiftly across the grooved cylinder which will cause the snuffer to rollover, revealing the wick and striking the flint, all in one movement.
The base is stamped “McMurdo” Pat No 590958.
