Description

Early Military Table Cabinet beautifully painted with tied ribbons, naturalistic floral garlands and military imagery on the front and top with a gold leaf decorated design surrounding them. The top and doors of the table cabinet have a herring bone inlay of green stained boxwood and natural stained boxwood, they are also lockable with the left door having a inner bolt at the bottom edge which secures it shut when the other cabinet door is closed and locked using the key. The sides have two brass swing carrying handles.

Inside the cabinet are six graduated drawers all painted with tied ribbons and floral garlands matching the exterior, each drawer has a metal ring pull and lined with pink paper. The interior doors have the same herring bone inlays and beautifully painted flowers.

This cabinet comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
