This exquisite Palais royal jewellery stand is simply divine with its rich gold decoration. The top of the stand has eight serpents to hang jewellery on, with the bottom four mermaids that rotate again to hang rings or other pieces from, drawing the eye furthermore are five exquisitely painted works of art in micro mosaic-style miniatures featuring animals and birds. Then not forgetting it has a fabulous large shell which is also beautifully engraved with a symmetrical leaf pattern with a five pointed leaf where the pole of the stand sits.

This very rich gold jewellery stand base has panels of mother of pearl each framed by back to back Griffins, Urns and Flowers and has a drawer which is silk lined for all those extra precious jewels. The whole stand sits on three winged hoof feet.
