The Sewing Box crafted from Papier Mache with an extensively painted exterior featuring a flying parrot above blossoming flowers and gilt scrollwork. The front of the Box with further scrollwork and a Silvered escutcheon. The interior lined with cushioned Green Velvet with a floral pattern paper tray fully fitted with Sewing accompaniments crafted from Mother of Pearl and white metal.

This Sewing Box comes complete with working lock and tasselled key.
