Description

Penwork Tea Caddystanding on four brass ball feet.

The top features a naively painted landscape scene of three sheep laid under a tree, with a large house in the background.
The rest of the box is decorated with bands of floral patterns and the main design features oak leaves with interesting shadows giving a three dimensional visual effect.

The interior features two compartments with traces or their original lining. These are accessed by removing the brass handled lids.

This lovely penwork tea caddy has a fully working lock & tasselled key.
