The Globe of typical form with a central sphere held on its axis set in a brass half meridian ring with a turned ebonised stand having a circular foot and a brass mount with the globe displaying a full image of the world . The Globe is finished with the original manufactures logo reading Philips 6 Inch Terrestrial Globe. The Globe dates to the turn of the 20th century during the end of Victorian era circa 1900.
