Description

Regency Rosewood Writing Box with scrolling inlaid brass, decorative escutcheons and secret drawers.

The interior has a black leather writing surface with gold tooling, two original gilded screw top ink wells and a section for holding pens and pencils. The top half of the writing surface lifts up to reveal a large storage compartment.

There are two secret hidden drawers in the main compartment which can be revealed by pressing down on the right hand side of the base of the top right compartment when the inkwells been removed. Doing this will cause the back of the main compartment to spring forward.

This Regency Writing Box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
