These wonderful glass Lalique car mascots originally adorned many fabulous Prestigious Motor Cars in the 1930s such as Bentley & Rolls Royce, made as car hood ornaments that would light up in the night and glow, these were first introduced in the 1920’s by famous glass maker René Jules Lalique, who started a company using his own name, which still creates fine glassware today.
Etched on the underside of the base is: ” R. Lalique, France N 1157 “Moulded mark “R.Lalique” under belly above the base.
This wonderful Lalique Wild Boar mascot is being offered for sale in A1 condition.
