Description

Pretty Rosewoodwriting box with Mother of Pearl, Abalone & fine brass wire inlays featuring a decorative peacock and pagoda.

The interior features a dark green leather and gold tooled writing surface, two brass screw top ink wells and a section for holding pens and pencils. The bottom half of the writing surface lifts up to reveal a storage area. Underneath the top half of the writing surface is further storage and has secret drawer compartmentIf you remove the inkwell in the top right corner, then squeezing with your thumb on its interior edge, a sprung section of the box will be released. This will reveal three small secret drawers.

This writing box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
