With Twin Boar Tusks
From our Barware collection, we are thrilled to offer this Silver Plate Boar Tusk Champagne Bucket. The Champagne Bucket mounted with twin Boar tusks around a flared Silver Plated bucket. The front of the Champagne Bucket features a monogram surmounted by a coronet reading SV. The base of the Champagne Cooler is stamped BLP WT $ symbol and registration number 2274 which we believe is for C. Sydney Smith Co. an American Silversmiths firm based in New York City dating to the first quarter of the 20th century Circa 1910.
Silver Plate refers to a method of applying a thin layer of silver to a base metal such as brass. Therefore it refers to an item which is not solid silver but plated to the outer coating.
