Spa oval Tea Caddy
A rare and beautifully decorated “Spa” OVAL TEA CADDY. The front, lid and rear are each decorated with hand painted oval scenes each surrounded by criss cross painted bands. The interior retains most of its tin lining and has a single floating lid which sits on the tea to keep it fresh. Hand painted caddies and boxes of this type were made in Spa towns in Belgium.

The interior contains traces of its original lining and the caddy features a snap shut lid with its original key and working lock
