Extremely Rare Pumpkin / Squash Tea Caddy with a superb dark mottled colour, untouched patination, and has a wonderful original squared stalk and very rarely seen on fruit tea caddies, a bone escutcheon making this example quite unique.

The interior of this Squash Tea Caddy contains traces of its original tin lining, with steeel hinge & lock.

Often confused as Melons but are clearly distinguishable due to their squared stalk, one of the rarest of the fruit tea caddies.
