Ebonised & boxwood Jaques Staunton Tournament Chess set, all pieces are weighted with green baize and being offered for sale in original untouched condition. Some pieces have old repairs as can be seen in the images.
Staunton is the name given to this particular style of chess piece which was designed by Nathaniel Cook and named after Howard Staunton.
