Sycamore Tea Caddy with canted corner inlaid flutes and burr yew medallions.
This tea caddy features wonderful oval framed portraits of pretty georgian lady’s surrounded by further inlays to the top and front.
Inside, the lid is lined with a pink paper and features a written note which reads as follows:
Tea Caddy hand painted 200 years or more old, given by Mrs Phillipson one or two of her beautiful boxes of Indian work, Sister Janet Slade had. They belonged to there Mother.
The main compartment has a bone handled lid replicating the same inlays as the rest of the tea caddy.
Tea caddy comes with a key and fully working lock.
