Description

Delightful Tunbridge Ware Sewing box veneered in rosewood with a view of Eridge Castle, it has a border of geometric tessellated inlays around the top and front with trailing leaves surrounding the front, back and sides of the box. The Tunbridge Ware sewing box stands on four turned Stick Ware feet.

The interior lid is lined with beautiful blue ruched silk with a turned rosewood moulding around the edge with the removable tray having its original blue paper silk lid, pin cushion and tray lid. It also come with several Tunbridge Ware pieces such as stick Ware pin cushion, Tunbridge Tape, Tunbridge Pin cushion and tunbridge Waxer.

The Tunbridge Sewing box comes with fully working lock and tasselled key.
