Description

Tunbridge Ware Cabinet by T. Barton veneered prodominantley with coromandel having a perspective cube pattern on the top and front doors with tessellated mosaic framed borders all round.

The doors open to reveal three garduated drawers each having tessellated mosaic tunbridge bandings and perspective inlaid wooden handles. The drawers are all superbly dovetailed and are lined containing its original deep burgandy velvet.

The underside of the Tunbridge Cabinet has a label which reads:

T. BARTON late NYE , Manufacturer, MOUNT EPHRAIM, and PARADE, Tunbridge Wells.

This charming piece of Tunbridge Ware comes complete with working lock and tasselled key.
