Description

Tunbridge Ware Sewing Box with a rare block of a girl playing with a kitten and a ball of string, whilst a peacock watches perched on a garden plinth. Its veneered in lovely figured Rosewood and has four turned bun feet.

The interior lid of this tunbridge sewing box has a tunbridge panel, the base has a removable tray fitted with several tunbridge ware spools.

This rare tunbridge ware sewing box comes with some original and added tunbridge ware pieces as well as some sewing tools and pin cushions, it has a full working lock and tasselled key.
