Antique Apothecarybox made of solid mahogany with two brass shaped escutcheons and flush fitting carry handle to the top.

Opening the doors of this splendid unusual apothecary box reveals twelve fitted medicine bottles housed inside the doors in individual compartments. The centre of the box has a large velvet backed section that folds down to reveal nine large bottles and brass ring pull drawer containing weights & scales. The sides of the folded down compartment features three drawers with tools and supplements including a mortar and pestle and various measuring cylinders.

This splendid antique apothecary box has its original labels and contents as can be seen in the images. It comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
