The Jewellery Box of rectangular form veneered in Rosewood with alternating brass edging and extensive brass inlay around the perimeter of the front and lid and a central vacant initial plaque. The sides of the box are mounted with flush carry handles with the right hand side featuring a shield shaped escutcheon for the hidden drawer. The interior of the Jewellery box is lined in teal cushioned velvet with multiple compartments for rings and/or cufflinks, and other jewellery. The Jewellery Box dates to the early Victorian period circa 1845.

The Jewellery Box comes complete with working lock and tasselled key.
