Staunton Chess Set made by important chess piece maker Lardy complete with original board.

Staunton is the name given to this particular style of chess piece which was designed by Nathaniel Cook and named after Howard Staunton.

Lardy were situated in Dortan near Oyonnax success during the 50’s and 60’s with exports travelling worldwide.

This large chess set is made from boxwood and the board is Walnut and satinwood.
