Containing the Original Miniature Removable Vanity Case

From our Jewellery Box collection, we are delighted to offer this Vintage Louis Vuitton Jewellery Case. The Jewellery Case of elongated rectangular form brass mounted with the staple LV Classic Monogram pattern. The Jewellery Case with LV leather mounted handle and riveted mounts all stamped by the manufacturer Louis Vuitton. The front of the case with the traditional Louis Vuitton brass lock marked LV, Louis Vuitton, Made in France with the registration number around the escutcheon reading. When opened the Jewellery case reveals the Suede and velvet lining with a removable top tray with partitioned sections and a central double cufflink or ring band. The top tray pulls up via the two loop handles to access a second removable tray with a central partition and then a further third storage area below. To the rear of the removable trays is the original miniature vanity case with internal mirror. The LV Jewellery Box is finished with the original Louis Vuitton label to the inner back of the lid. The Louis Vuitton Jewellery Case dates to the second half of the 20th century circa 1980.

The Jewellery Box comes complete with working lock and tasselled key.
