These wonderful Car Mascots were made to sit on car radiator mounts as luxury ornaments in the 1920’s by famous glass maker René Jules Lalique, they were lit underneath by a bulb which would shine through the glass giving them a warm glow at night, the faster the car went the brighter the glow. Rene Lalique who started company using his own name still creates fine glassware today.
