Dear Friends,

I write this newsletter today with a heavy heart and with a tear or two. Sadly Roxy, my best friend and our family pet passed away just over two weeks ago. We have eleven and a half years of cherished special memories to look back on and she like most dogs was a real companion, there whenever you need them, loved a fuss or stroke and of course, playtime with squeaky toys that would make you go stir crazy at times. I do have a confession and a few special memories to share. The restoration workshop was always a great place for her to investigate, any old veneers or broken bits of wood with animal glue particular favourite of hers as was the odd box or two awaiting to be repaired in our early days of having her. Customers vehicles too had to be checked before leaving, be it a Van or Car, leave the door ajar and she’d be in sat awaiting her new journey. She was a character and got on with everyone she saw, small but powerful girl give her attention and she would not leave you alone. Home, workshop, and that vacant seat in my van are not the same without her, simple things like the rattle of the keys and me saying her favourite word “Van” she’d be off like a shot waiting patiently at the door ready to go to work with me. She certainly has enriched our lives and left us with lots of wonderful memories, she will be sadly missed. Below are some pics we managed to take, she was camera shy believe it or not. xxx
