Description
This traditional George III Satinwood Oval Tea Caddy is decorated with an oak-leaf garland, framing a bow and arrow, with an oval-shaped bone escutcheon to the fore.
The top of the Satinwood Tea Caddy has a wonderful inlay of a basket of flowers and it has a boxwood edge with kingwood crossbanding.
The interior of the caddy contains a single bone-handled lid and traces of the caddy’s original foil lining remain.
A non-functioning lock is present on this tea caddy.
