Outstanding Octagonal Georgian single tea caddy veneered in Harewood with oval fan inlays and exquisite doric columns. These are framed with a tulipwood crossbanding and boxwood edging, with the lid having a turned bone handle finishing off this the fabulous looking tea caddy. The Doric column is sometimes associated with strength and masculinity.

The interior has a single floating lid with a matching turned bone handle, and retains most of its original lining.

The tea caddy has fantastic colour and patination and comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
