Description

Asprey Silver Vanity Box of the highest quality, brass bound all round and veneered in Coromandel and stamped Asprey & Son 166 Bond St. And 22 Albemarle St.

The interior of this Asprey Vanity box comprises of ten beautiful glass bottles & jars with star cut bases and sterling silver engraved lids with the entwined initials H.A. each piece hallmarked by Charles Asprey & charles Asprey Junior, London 1876 .

To the center of the box has a removable accoutrements tray which includes: cork screw, pair of scissors, tweezers, pencil, waxer, pen and another we are not quite sure about its use. The lid of the Asprey box has the famous name embossed with gold letters which reads: Asprey & Son 166 Bond St. And 22 Albemarle St. This also has a removable free standing mirror and secret letter compartment.

Removing the tray of the reveals more room for jewellery or clothes brushes, to the front has a lockable jewellery drawer to acces this you first of all have to unlock the drawer with the bramah key and need to open the box lid and push the brass button between the two hinges at the back of the box, once pressed the asprey jewellery drawer springs forward revealing a blue silk velvet leather sided compartment.
