Featured here is a charming Antique Octagonal Tented Top Tea Caddy made from Ivory with an ornate Silver handle. With an escutcheon, a vacant initial plate, each Ivory panel on this stunning Tea Caddy is separated by Tortoiseshell & Horn stringing. The Ivory Octagonal Caddy has a Silver stop hinge.

The interior of this classic Georgian Ivory Tea Caddy still contains traces of its original foil lining, extended leaves are visible where parts of the interior tinfoil is missing. The leaf extensions are very tarnished and have been outlined in yellow to make them stand out.
