Georgian tortoiseshell tent top tea caddy with the front featuring a silver framed painted cameo, silver initial plaque and ornate escutcheon. Each tortoiseshell panel is finely separated by very thin delicate strips of Ivory.

The interior features two compartments with traces of their original foil lining, and two tortoiseshell lids with turned ivory handles. This tea caddy comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key. Locking the tea caddy it the key must be turned anticlockwise and clockwise to unlock.
